One more night at the hospital

After Mia's birth mom left, it got lonely at the hospital, so Matt and Miles came for a sleepover. Matt took advantage of the complementary pajamas.

They let Mia sleep in our room. Miles kept waking up to say he was dreaming about his baby sister. No one but Mia seemed to sleep much.

Miles loves his new role as big brother and helps out lots. Here he's getting Mia dressed for the ride home. We were surprised that this preemie outfit was too small!

We bid a fond farewell to the nurses and staff at the Frankfort Regional Hospital and packed up for the road. Both kids slept the whole way home and Mia's new, portable heart and respiration monitor didn't go off even once.
